Music

 At CCC we believe that every student regardless of social background can be a musician.  

Our curriculum is designed to promote the development of a breadth of skills and knowledge. We are committed to ensuring that every student explores their musical identity, whatever their background or prior experience. Students are encouraged to think musically and apply their knowledge through performance, composition and appraisal. Each year, the students continuously develop skills on specific instruments. These opportunities allow them to choose music at KS4 at CCC and beyond. 

At CCC we believe that all students should: 

• Learn how to play different instruments 

• Listen to and compose in a variety of styles 

• Perform on stage, at school and in the wider community
